Iceland will forever have a special place in my heart, as many of my friends will readily tell you. In 2018, before I started landscape photography as a hobby, it was my first “solo” trip. At that time, I drove around the country in March. I had no idea what to expect and I almost died at one point, but I fell in love. I returned here in 2022 with my camera.

My most recent trip here has been in 2025. I’ve separated the photos from that trip with a different header. Over the past 7 years, I have seen just how quickly the glaciers have eroded (approximately 0.5km2/year). Seeing the beauty of the highlands again reinforced the fragility and beauty of nature and our mandate to be stewards rather than profiteers of the nature we get to enjoy.

I invite you to press or click on each image to see them in more detail.
